Come Fourth of July, most of us spend that day outdoors. It’s a great time to show your patriotic pride by making some outdoor 4th of July decorations for your yard and garden. We’ve found some cool projects for you that are fun, easy and great for the kids to help on as well. So fly your flag and get out the red, white and blue! It’s Fourth of July!
1. Paper Pinwheels
Paper pinwheels will catch the breeze at your backyard bash and delight children. They go nicely in mason jars, stuck in cakes, or lining the yard.
2. Firecracker Toppers
American flag toothpicks are a classic decoration for burgers, hotdogs, and cupcakes. If you want to shake it up with a unique personal touch, try making these firecracker toppers instead!

3. DIY 4Th Of July Stars
We love this first project from Cuckoo 4 Design! This festive 4th of July banner is easy to make and perfect for yard decorations. There’s a complete tutorial. The red, white and blue ribbon is a great touch and completes the look beautifully!
4. Pallet Wood 4th Of July Flag
This Pallet Flag makes a perfect outdoor 4th of July decoration. This project comes to us from Jennifer Allwood. Love how she created the wonderful weathered look! Beside Pallet Flag you can use fourth of july garden flag or 4th of July house flag to make your house become patriotic homie.
5. Colored Glass Mason Jars
For an old-school, vintage Americana theme, consider placing colored glass mason jars around your yard or table. They're an inexpensive purchase that goes a long way when it comes to decór (and you can continue to use them after the holiday passes!).
6. Balloon Centerpiece
Does it get more fun than this balloon decoration? Blow up red, white, and blue balloons partially, then attach them to wooden dowels. Fill a bucket with sand so you can stick the dowels inside for a study centerpiece.

Make a mini patriotic planter with a “Let freedom ring” message or a sparkly red star using your Cricut Maker. All you need is 15 minutes!

17. Provide Shade With Red, White And Blue Umbrellas
Red, white and blue patio umbrellas provide shade and go with the color scheme.
If you already own the umbrellas, you can buy umbrella covers* in the colors you want without spending a lot of money (just make sure to count how many ribs your umbrella has so you get the right size).
